Rem Offshore is proud to be one of the main sponsors of Fyr til Fyr 2026, one of Norway’s most spectacular trail races, taking place in our very own coastal community of Herøy.
From lighthouse to lighthouse, Fyr til Fyr takes participants through some of the most spectacular coastal landscapes in Norway. Offering 43 kilometres of both a physical challenge and a shared experience in nature
A Community Event with Real Impact
For Rem Offshore, supporting Fyr til Fyr is about more than sport. It is about contributing to something that strengthens our local community. The event brings together participants, volunteers, families and spectators, creating engagement, pride and a shared sense of belonging . Values we strongly identify with.
As a company with deep roots along the west coast, we value initiatives that bring people together and highlight what makes our local community special. Supporting Fyr til Fyr is therefore a natural way for us to contribute.
Promoting Health and Wellbeing
We also see Fyr til Fyr as an important initiative for public health. Encouraging people to be active, challenge themselves and spend time outdoors contributes positively to both physical and mental wellbeing.
Whether you run, walk or cheer from the sidelines, Fyr til Fyr inspires people to take part, be active and enjoy the outdoors together.
Shared Values
“Fyr til Fyr shows the strength of our community – people coming together, supporting each other and creating something meaningful.
At Rem Offshore, we believe in contributing beyond our core business. Supporting initiatives that promote wellbeing, engagement and community spirit is an important part of that.
We are proud to support the organisers and participants in making Fyr til Fyr 2026 a memorable event with a lasting legacy.”
Rem Offshore Secures the Future of Bergsøy Handball – Herøyhallen Becomes REM Arena
Rem Offshore AS has signed a 10-year agreement with Bergsøy Handball, securing the naming rights to Herøyhallen, which will now be known as Rem Arena Fosnavåg.
This strategic move marks a significant investment in Bergsøy Handball, ensuring the club’s continued development at both the elite and grassroots levels. Rem Arena Fosnavåg will serve as a central hub for Bergsøy Handball’s activities, providing the club with long-term stability and predictability.
“We have always been a strong supporter of Bergsøy Handball, and we intend to continue that commitment. With this agreement, we demonstrate our dedication to developing our local community while also strengthening Bergsøy Handball and supporting their ambitious goals,” says Åge Remøy, Chairman of Rem Offshore.
“Rem Arena Fosnavåg will be a venue for both top-level handball and grassroots sports, and we look forward to following the club’s development in the years to come.”
The agreement confirms Rem Offshore’s strong commitment to the local community and sports in the region. “This is fantastic news for Bergsøy Handball,” says Øyvind Bostad, Chairman of Bergsøy Handball. “We are grateful for Rem Offshore’s trust and look forward to a fruitful partnership over the next 10 years.”
Rem Offshore and Bergsøy Handball will work closely together to develop Rem Arena Fosnavåg into a venue that inspires and engages both players and spectators.
Lovise Skarbøvik Andresen
Had her international breakthrough on the athletics track as a 20-year-old last year. When she became Norwegian and Nordic senior champion both indoors (60 meters hurdles) and outdoors (100 meters hurdles).
In addition, she was selected for the European Senior Championships in Rome, where she advanced from the attempt to the semi-finals, being only hundredths away from reaching the final. When it mattered most, she set two new personal bests in the 100-meter hurdles, with 12.89 she was just behind the Norwegian record.
These achievements together with her ambitious goals, were strong reasons why Rem Offshore entered into a two-year sponsorship agreement with Lovise last autumn. Just before Christmas, she was named Athlete of the Year by Sunnmørsposten.
