Lovise Skarbøvik Andresen

Had her international breakthrough on the athletics track as a 20-year-old last year. When she became Norwegian and Nordic senior champion both indoors (60 meters hurdles) and outdoors (100 meters hurdles). In addition, she was selected for the European Senior Championships in Rome, where she advanced from the attempt to the semi-finals, being only hundredths away from reaching the final. When it mattered most, she set two new personal bests in the 100-meter hurdles, with 12.89 she was just behind the Norwegian record.

These achievements together with her ambitious goals, were strong reasons why Rem Offshore entered into a two-year sponsorship agreement with Lovise last autumn. Just before Christmas, she was named Athlete of the Year by Sunnmørsposten.

About the 2025 season, Lovise says:

I have been able to train well since the end of the season last autumn and am now in my first season on the senior national team of the Norwegian Athletics Federation.

The indoor season has just started and in the next few weeks I will compete internationally in Finland (twice) and in France. In Finland there is a Nordic championship, and it is the second time I will compete there.  Then there will be a ten-day training camp in Tenerife before the Norwegian Indoor Championships in Rudhallen in Bærum. Then I hope to be selected for the European Indoor Championships (EM) in the Netherlands in early March.

Then the focus turns to the outdoor season. The goal is to run as fast as possible at the competitions and see how far it goes. Among the highlights this year are the Bislett Games, the European Championships for U23 in Bergen (young people under 23 years) and the Norwegian Championships in August.

I look forward to the competitions in the future and I am very grateful that Rem Offshore has chosen to support me.

Rem Offshore wishes you the best of luck, Lovise!
