Our commitment to a sustainable future
We work actively to reduce our environmental impact and support the transition to more sustainable energy sources.
By combining proven maritime expertise with new technology, we contribute to more responsible and efficient operations. We invest in new vessels and upgrade our existing fleet with advanced technology such as batteries and NOx purification.
Since 2018, our investment in renewable energy has grown significantly. Today, services related to offshore wind account for up to 35% of our total revenue.
Our newest addition, Rem Pioneer, reflects this development. This CSOV vessel is powered by green methanol, emits zero emissions, and – as the name suggests – will be a pioneer in the offshore energy industry.
Social responsibility

Our story
A legacy built on trust
Rem Offshore has deep roots tracing back to the west coast of Norway in the 1970s. The company was reestablished in 2016 by Åge Remøy and his partners, a clear ambition: to build a modern offshore fleet prepared for the future of the energy industry.
The first vessel was acquired in 2017. Despite a challenging offshore market, the company has grown steadily through strategic investments in advanced vessels equipped with low and zero-emission technology.
Today, Rem Offshore operates a modern fleet supporting offshore installations, subsea operations and renewable energy projects. With more than 700 employees both at sea and on land, the company has developed into a trusted partner for energy companies operating in the North Sea and international waters.
