A Legacy Built on trust
Rem Offshore has its roots dating back to the 1970s. The company was reestablished in 2016 by Åge Remøy and his partners, and their first vessel was purchased in 2017. Despite the challenging offshore market, Rem Offshore has grown significantly by acquiring and constructing advanced vessels equipped with low and zero-emission technology. Today, the company operates a modern fleet of 19 vessels, plus 3 under construction and employs over 700 dedicated staff members.
This growth has established Rem Offshore as a leading marine services provider. Through innovation, reliability, and strong partnerships with our customers, we have become a trusted partner in oil and gas, renewable energy, and subsea operations.

To meet increasing demand, we are investing in new ships and modernizing our existing fleet with advanced technology like batteries and NOx purification.
Since 2018, our investment in renewable energy has grown rapidly. Today, revenue from our services at offshore wind farms accounts for up to 35% of our total revenue.
Our newest addition, Rem Pioneer, is a clear demonstration of our commitment to sustainability. This CSOV vessel is powered by green methanol, emits zero emissions, and – as the name suggests – will be a pioneer in the offshore energy industry.
